BRAGGING RIGHTS • MUST DO • CAN’T MISS

With so many exciting activities at Atlantis Paradise Island, we thought it would be a good idea to create a bucket list
of things you absolutely, positively, have to do when visiting our beautiful property.

Whether you like to get the adrenaline going with a near-vertical 60-foot drop on the Leap of Faith waterslide, or if you just want to chill atop Poseidon’s mighty throne and get your Instagram on, we’ve got a can’t miss activity for you.

Which experiences will you check off your bucket list?

LEAP OF FAITH

One of the first waterslides in Aquaventure and some may say the scariest, this 60-foot near-vertical drop from the top of The Mayan Temple into the shark-filled waters of The Mayan Temple Lagoon makes even the bravest scream out loud.

POSEIDON’S THRONE

One of the most Instagrammed spots in the entire resort, Poseidon's Throne is located in The Royal, adjacent to the Atlantis Casino. No visit to Atlantis Paradise Island is complete without sitting atop this regal seat.

THE ROPE BRIDGE

Take a stroll on this iconic walkway, located in the center of The Predator Lagoon. Look for the surrounding red mangroves, which are trees that produce elongated seed pods as well as the Hammerhead shark down below.

THE HEART SWING

While one of our newer landmarks it has quickly become one of the most popular and unforgettable.

SACRED SPACE

This breathtaking sculpture on The Cove peninsula was designed by Bahamian artist Antonius Roberts. The Seven Dancing Women represent the connection of the Bahamian past to the future, the ocean to the land and the 700 islands of The Bahamas to Paradise Island.

DOLPHIN CAY

Dolphin Cay is one of the world's largest open-air, man-made marine mammal habitats. The 14-acre environment includes an 11-acre lagoon, 7 connected "residential" pools, an animal rescue-rehabilitation hospital and pharmacy, and a separate sea lion center.

SMALLTOOTH SAWFISH

With the help of the Atlantis Blue Project Foundation, Atlantis is the first and only facility to have reproductive success of this critically endangered species. Visit their marine habitats in The Royal or The Predator Lagoon to see some of our smalltooth sawfish residents.

THE DIG

Come face to face with over 250 species of fish ranging from a 1,000-pound manta ray to six-foot moray eels, queen angelfish, venomous lionfish. Don’t forget to stop by the interactive touch tank filled with starfish, horseshoe crabs, and more.

PEGASUS FOUNTAIN

The iconic entrance to The Royal is graced by Pegasus, a group of seven beautiful bronze horses, created by renowned sculptor Danie de Jager.

5 MILES OF BEACHES

Atlantis Paradise Island is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. With over 5 miles of stunning coastline and crystal-clear water, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're looking for a peaceful spot to relax, or want to get active and play in the waves, what could be better than spending the day at the beach in Paradise?

The Abyss & Secret Cenote

Cenote, a magical underground pool and cavern, is home to pacu, redtail catfish, cichlids and the endangered Alligator Gar. Plunge down The Abyss, located at the top of Aquaventure’s Power Tower, and splash into this cave and surrounding environment.

THE ROYAL BATH

Soothing music and the pool’s sunburst mosaic create a setting of serenity and romance where adults can relax and unwind. The iconic The Royal serves as a dramatic backdrop.

THE CORAL POOL SWIM-UP BAR

Try local, all-natural Bahamian-infused popsicles and frozen cocktails.

SUN & ICE

Bahamian Chef Wayne Moncur’s ice cream, gelato and sorbet is made from seasonal fruits, herbs, teas and spices that come from local farms and gardens.

MCKENZIE’S CONCH STAND

Famous for having some of the best conch salad in Nassau, McKenzie’s Conch Shack has opened its first outpost at Marina Village and guests are encouraged to pull up a bar stool.

SIP SIP

Sip Sip, Bahamian slang for “gossip,” recently opened in Marina Village. Sip Sip features “Caribterranean” cuisine, with menu items created from fish and fare procured from local fisherman and farmers. INSIDER’S TIP: Order the Lobster Quesadilla (a cult classic), Grouper Reuben and a Sip Sip Rum Punch!

HIBISCUS LAGOON & SEA TURTLE PROGRAM

Don’t leave the resort without seeing The Hibiscus Lagoon, home to a variety of green sea turtles, triggerfish and Bermuda chubs. Every two years, female sea turtles lay 300-600 eggs on our nesting beaches.

JUNKANOO

Enjoy authentic Bahamian entertainment, food, arts & crafts, face painting, Junkanoo costume creation and dance lessons.

GOLF AT THE OCEAN CLUB

Challenging, masterfully-conceived and stunningly beautiful, the Tom Weiskopf-designed Ocean Club Golf Course offers guests of Atlantis every element for the perfect round. This 18-hole par 72 championship course stretches over 7,100 yards on Atlantis, Paradise Island Oceanside's peninsula, where crosswinds challenge even the most experienced players.

MOVIE NIGHT AT THE ROYAL

Enjoy the best family movies around while floating in the Royal Bath or Cascades pools!

THE RAPIDS RIVER

Guests are propelled down the longest river in the Bahamas on inner tubes through lush, tropical foliage and rolling waves.

JOKER'S WILD

See some of television’s funniest comics at Jokers Wild! Come enjoy antics from both local comics and those flown in specially. There are laughs-o-plenty to tickle your funny bone. Don’t miss a dose of Bahamas comedy out our shows – we’ll see you during your stay in paradise!

THE BRIDGE SUITE

The Royal Bridge Suite offers guests the MOST spectacular views and ten sumptuous rooms full of one-of-a-kind amenities—including a 1,250-square-foot living room with a grand piano and twin entertainment centers, a dining room adorned with a 22-karat gold chandelier, and truly spacious bedrooms. The Bridge Suite has been featured in many films and television productions and spans the open-air connection between the East and West wings of The Royal.
