HOW DO I MAKE RESERVATIONS AT ATLANTIS?
  1. To make hotel reservations and check rates, click the “book now” button on the Atlantis website at www.AtlantisBahamas.com and explore the various rooms and suites or call our call center at 1-888-877-7525. Our travel specialists are available to assist you.

  2. For dining reservations guests should visit the dining reservations page on the Atlantis website. Dining Reservations can be MADE 90 DAYS OR LESS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, but are subject to availability.

  3. To book activities like Dolphin Cay and marine life experiences visit the dedicated pages on the experiences section of the Atlantis website

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

To make payments towards your reservation and purchase other activities or tickets, please visit our digital concierge site MyAtlantisVacation.com or call our call center at 1-800-Atlantis.

We accept all major credit cards for payment on your travel plan. We also accept Google Pay, Apple Pay and Apple Credit Cards. The credit card will be charged according to the posted payment instructions. Post-travel billing questions and concerns should be directed to our Quality Assurance Department.

DOES ATLANTIS OFFER GIFT CARDS?

CANCELLATION POLICIES

BEST AVAILABLE RATES, PROMOTIONS & PACKAGES


  • • For travel January 2, 2024 – December 14, 2024, and January 2, 2025 – December 14, 2025, a 14-day flexible cancellation policy applies.

    • Cancellations received 0 to 14 days prior to arrival will incur a minimum cancellation penalty equal to the charge for the first two (2) nights, plus applicable taxes, and fees.

    • No-Shows will incur a penalty equal to 100% of total stay.

  • • For travel December 15, 2024 –January 1, 2025, cancellations received before October 31, 2024; no penalty applies.

    • Cancellations received on or after November 1, 2024, will be charged the entire length of stay, plus applicable taxes, and fees.

    • No-Shows will incur a penalty equal to 100% of total stay.

These cancellations policies are not applicable to groups.


NON-REFUNDABLE RATES:
Non-refundable room rates are based on a two-night minimum stay. For all non-refundable rates, a valid credit card is required for payment in full at the time of booking. Bookings are non-refundable if canceled more than one day (24 hours) after booking. Any non-refundable bookings cancelled more than one day (24 hours) after booking will be charged the full cost of the room for the entire length of stay, plus applicable taxes, and surcharges. Name changes on the reservation will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made. Non-refundable rates are subject to availability, change and/or cancellation at any time by the Resort, and blackout dates may apply. Non-refundable rates are not applicable to groups or specialty programs.
*Battle 4 Atlantis is non-refundable and non-transferable within 30 days.


OTHER PRODUCTS OUTSIDE ROOMS:
Airline: Cancellation/changes of the Airline portion of an Atlantis Paradise Vacation (APV) Package are subject to the fees and/or penalties associated with individual Airlines and will be the sole responsibility of the guest.
Airport Transfers: Cancellations/No Shows of the airport transfer portion of an Atlantis Paradise Vacation (APV) Package must be received no later than 3 days prior to arrival. Cancellations/No Shows 0-2 days to arrival is non-refundable.
Dining Plans: Dining Plans are non-cancellable and non-refundable within 72 hours of arrival.
Dolphin Cay Reservations: Cancellations of the Dolphin Cay reservation portion of an Atlantis Paradise Vacation (APV) package must be received no later than 3 days prior to travel. Cancellations received 0 to 3 days prior to travel are non-refundable.
Honeymoon Packages: Refer to individual packages for component cancellation forfeiture terms.
Additional Optional Inclusions (Atlantis Live Tickets, Green Fees, Special Event Tickets): Cancellations are non-refundable.
*Travel Protection Plan: An Optional Travel Protection Plan is available for you to purchase. If you wish to purchase the Plan, it must be purchased at the time of booking your room reservation. Refer to Optional Travel Protection Plan for additional terms and conditions.

VAT, LEVIES, RESORT FEES, & MANDATORY GRATUITIES

The sum of all these charges are represented in the “VAT, Levies, Resort Fees and Mandatory Gratuities” column on your e-confirmation.

Guests of The Coral, The Royal, The Cove, The Reef, and Harborside Resort are subject to a 21% charge on room rate, which includes 10% VAT, 4.4% Paradise Island Tourism and Development Association Levy (including VAT), and 6.6% Nassau Paradise Island Promotional Board Levy (including VAT).

For The Coral, the Resort Fee is $59.00 plus a $5.90 VAT charge, totaling $64.90 per room, per night, and for The Reef and The Cove, the Resort Fee is $70.00 plus a $7.00 VAT charge, totaling $77.00 per room, per night.

For The Royal, for new reservations starting November 16, 2023, and onwards, for travel December 15, 2023, and onwards, the Resort Fee is $65.00 plus a $6.50 VAT charge, totaling $71.50 per room, per night.

For reservations made before November 16, 2023, for any travel date, the Resort Fee is $59.00 plus a $5.90 VAT charge, totaling $64.90 per room, per night.

The Daily Resort Fee Includes:
•  Daily Access to Aquaventure Water Park.
•  Unlimited access throughout your stay to The Dig, Predator Tunnel, and the largest open-air marine habit in the world with over 50,000 marine animals from 250 species.
•  Access to view fish and marine animal feedings.
•  Wi-Fi All Access (in guest rooms and lobby areas for four (4) devices; six (6) devices at The Cove and The Reef.
•  Daily Access to Fitness Center for two (2) entitles guests to complimentary use of the cardio studio, universal and free weights. Tennis, fitness classes, and personal training sessions are omitted.
•  Two (2) Reusable Souvenir Water Bottles per room and access to Hydration water stations throughout the resort.
•  Access to Indoor Theater and Poolside Movies.
•  Weekly schedule of complimentary Resort Guest Activities.
•  In-Room Coffee & Tea and Mini-Fridge (The Cove mini-fridges are not temperature regulated for medicine and dairy).
•  Resort Shuttle Service
•  Free Gaming Lessons (upon request)
•  Unlimited Local Phone Calls

At The Reef, the Daily Resort Fee also includes exclusive access to the Cascades Pool.
At The Cove, the Daily Resort Fee also includes exclusive access to the Cascades Pool and the adults-only The Cove Pool (ages 18 and over only).

The above Resort Fees do not apply to stays at Harborside Resort, where guests will be required to pay a Utility Service Fee of up to $16.95 plus a $1.70 VAT charge, per person per day depending on unit type.

Atlantis room rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guests, 12 years and older, are subject to a charge of up to $75 per night, plus VAT and mandatory gratuities as listed above.

Effective for all bookings (new or changes to existing bookings) made on or after March 29, 2024:  All guests, ages 12 and older, will be required to pay a Mandatory Gratuity of (i) up to $7.00 per person per day in standard rooms, up to $14.00 per person per day in suites, and up to $21.00 per person per day in specialty suites at The Coral, (ii) up to $7.00 per person per day in standard rooms and up to $14.00 per person per day in suites at The Royal, (iii) up to $6.25 per person per day depending on unit type at Harborside Resort, (iv) up to $8.00 per person per day in studio suites, up to $26.00 per person per day in suites and up to $52 per person per day in specialty suites at The Reef at Atlantis, and (v) up to $8.00 per person per day  in standard suites, up to $14.00 per person per day in 1-bedroom suites, up to $22.00 per person per day in 2-bedroom suites, and up to $30 per person per day in specialty suites at The Cove at Atlantis. 

*The Bahamas’ Value-Added Tax (VAT) is 10%.  This is subject to certain limited exceptions as prescribed by the Bahamian Government. The 10% VAT charge will be applied to all goods and services consumed in The Bahamas.

USING CREDIT CARDS WHILE TRAVELING

Notify all of your issuing banks (ATM and Credit Card) you'll be traveling to the Bahamas and the dates you'll be traveling on before you leave to ensure access to your funds readily.
Check with your issuing banks to see whether your ATM or Credit card is subject to daily spending or withdrawal restrictions while abroad.
Be sure you know your PIN for your debt or credit cards so you can get local currency from ATMs worldwide.

WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

Check-In time is 4:00PM at The Coral, The Royal, The Cove, The Reef, and Harborside Resort.
Check-Out time is 11.00AM at The Coral, The Royal, The Cove, and The Reef. Check-Out time is 10.00AM at Harborside Resort.
*Check-in times may vary based on hotels discretion. Additional fees may be charged for early check-in or late check-out.


  • • Luggage and large items may be stored with the bellman.

  • • Atlantis offers guests complimentary use of In-Transit Hospitality Lounges, which allows guests with early arrivals (prior to 4pm check-in) or late departures (after 11am check-out time) to shower, change and store small personal items while they continue to enjoy the resort's amenities. Facilities include lockers, showers, restrooms, changing facilities and bathing suit dryers.

    • For The Coral guests, the Hospitality Cavern is located in the Seagrapes Tunnel marine exhibit.

    • For guest of The Royal, the In-Transit lounge is located in between the East and West wings.

    • The Reef Atlantis and The Cove Atlantis have their own respective in-transit lounges located on the first floors near the elevators.

  • • If your room is ready before 4pm, you will be allowed to check-in early.

  • • If you are leaving after 11 am, please let us know 24 hours in advance. The front desk will make every effort to manage requests for late check-out. 

 

To check-in at The Coral, The Royal, The Cove, or The Reef, at least one guest must be at least 18 years of age and present a valid credit card in their name. If under 18, the guest must be traveling with a party where one guest is 18 or older and is the credit card holder for all reservations.

To check-in at Harborside Resort, at least one guest must be at least 21 years of age and present a valid credit card in their name. If under 21, the guest must be traveling with a party where one guest is 21 or older and is the credit card holder for all reservations.
Upon check-in at all hotels, you are required to place a credit card on file as your security deposit for your incidentals. There is a holding charge on the credit card, which is based on various factors, including number of nights and type of package booked.
Atlantis Paradise Island is a cash free resort. Major credit cards accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Cash is not accepted.

IS ATLANTIS AN ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT?

Atlantis is not an all-inclusive Resort; we are a full-service Resort. As our guest, you have full access to all Atlantis Aquaventure water park features at no additional cost. Included are 20 swimming areas, 11 water slides, our mile-long Rapids River, our protected Paradise Lagoon, The Dig, the Predator Lagoon, all of our marine life habitats, and 6 inviting beaches over 5 miles long. Beach towels are provided daily at Aquaventure Guest Service locations at no charge. All other Atlantis services such as the Mandara Spa, the Comedy Club, and our Business Center, are yours to enjoy for a nominal fee.

Meal plans are available to enhance your experience at the resort. These plans vary and offer guests options depending upon where they would like to dine and where they are staying within the resort.

Meals are not included with your room reservation; however, as a guest of the resort you will have full signing privileges at any of our restaurants or lounges.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN THE BAHAMAS?

Atlantis Weather:

The climate in the Bahamas is sub-tropical.In the islands there are basically two seasons: Wet and Dry.
Average temperatures range between 70 to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Wet Season is from June through November which is also the hurricane season.
The height of the tropical activity is traditionally between August and October.
The Dry Season, much cooler and less humid, is between December and May.
Temperatures as low as the 60s during the Dry Season are rare but do happen.
Bright colored loose airy clothing is the recommended daytime wear.
A light sweater or jacket should be part of your travel gear during the Dry Season.
Brief heavy showers are common throughout the year. We call that Liquid Sunshine.

IS ATLANTIS LOCATED IN NASSAU?

No, Atlantis is not on Nassau. Atlantis is located on Paradise Island across the harbor from Nassau. You must go over The Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge to get there or arrive by boat.

ARE ANY OF THE POOLS HEATED AT ATLANTIS?

When the warm Caribbean sun isn’t naturally heating the water, we offer temperature-controlled pools heated up to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. These include Cove Pools, Cascades Pool, Royal Baths, Grotto Pool, Bath Colonnades, Rapids River, Poseidon's Playzone, and Harborside Pool.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE AT THE RESORT?

Resort and sports attire is appropriate throughout the day. Shoes and cover-ups are required in the lobbies and in all indoor restaurants, lounges and public places at all times. Clothing specifically designed for tennis should be worn on the courts.

Venues include Fish by Jose, Café Martinique, Nobu, Silan by Alon Shaya and Paranza by Michael White.

  • Ladies are encouraged to wear evening attire.

  • Gentlemen are required to wear collared shirts.

  • No swimsuits, shorts, athletic wear, t-shirts, ripped or frayed denim, hats, flip flops, crocs, or slippers.


Casual Restaurants Dress Code: Smart Casual

Venues include Lagoon Bar & Grill, Ocean Club Clubhouse, Seafire Steakhouse, Carmine’s, Sip Sip, Frezca, Bimini Road, Murray’s Deli, Chop Stick, Perch, Poseidon’s Table, Village Burger Shack.

  • Dress in t-shirts or polo shirts, slacks, sundresses or skirts, and similar attire.

  • No shorts, jeans, tennis shoes, logo or silk-screened t-shirts.


Fast Casual Restaurants Dress Code: Casual

Venues include Breakwaters Grill, Cascades, Mayan Cart, Pisces, Riverbend Café, Shark Bites, Triton’s Shack Bar, Pita, Starbucks at Aquaventure, Sun & Ice, Plato’s, The Dilly Club, Mckenzie's Conch Shack, Starbucks at Marina Village, Marina Pizzeria, Starbucks at the Coral, Ben & Jerry's, Shake Shack, Starbucks at the Reef and Zero Entry.

  • T-shirts or polo shirts, shorts or jeans, skirts or sundresses, and similar apparel are recommended.

  • No swimsuits or cutoff shorts. Shoes are required.

WORRY FREE HURRICANE GUARANTEE

The Atlantis, Paradise Island Hurricane Guarantee ensures that you can purchase your vacation with confidence.
In the event that a hurricane watch or warning is issued by the United States’ National Hurricane Center within fourteen (14) days prior to your date of arrival for either your travel origin city or for New Providence, The Bahamas, guests with confirmed reservations can cancel your reservation up to the moment of scheduled departure. You then have the option to rebook your vacation without penalties for a stay to be completed within one (1) year of the original arrival date, subject to terms and conditions.

WHAT ARE THE AGE RESTRICTIONS AT ATLANTIS?

Below are regulations concerning age which are strictly enforced.

Minimum age requirements at Atlantis:

  • To reserve a room ~ 18 years or older**

  • To drink alcohol ~ 18 years or older

  • To gamble ~ 18 years or older

**One person staying in each room must be at least 18-years old or above to check-in at The Coral, The Royal, The Reef, and The Cove. To check-in at Harborside Resort, least one guest must be at least 21 years of age and present a valid credit card in their name.

DOES ATLANTIS HAVE PARKING FOR HOTEL GUESTS?

Valet parking is available at the resort for $20.

DOES ATLANTIS ALLOW PETS?

We do not allow pets of any type at Atlantis. The only exceptions are registered service animals such as Service Dogs. To register your service animal, call Guest Services for details at 242-363-3000.

Ask for your guest's name used at check-in.
The call will be transferred and you can leave a message on their voice mail.
Because of the enormous number of faxes received daily, we do recommend calling guests as your first option.

Faxing Atlantis Guests:
To ensure the fax reaches your contact, supply the guest's contact information on the cover page. Guest contact information must include reservation name, arrival date, tower and room number. Call your contact to advise the fax was sent. Guest must retrieve their fax at the front desk.

There are no facilities to transfer e-mails to guests at the hotel. Guests can check their personal e-mails in our library while at Atlantis.

The Coral at Atlantis is designed with families and friends in mind and is conveniently located near activities and experiences for guests of all ages. Lounge in poolside cabanas, enjoy the swim-up bar, or take a short walk to the ocean.

The Royal at Atlantis is the center of the resort and home to the iconic Royal towers. IS THERE A FOOD STORE AT ATLANTIS?

A limited selection of groceries are available at Atlantis Sundry Shops, for a wider selection, a food store is located a few blocks from the resort.

Sundries at Harborside is open from 10am until 6pm.
Sundries at The Cove & The Reef is open from 10am until 6pm.
The Royal Signature & Mini-Bar Store is open from 11am until 7pm.
Guests can find toiletries and personal care items (such as diapers, baby needs, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, sunscreen, shampoo, conditioner, and soap) at these shops. Groceries including snacks such as candy, chips, and sodas are also available for purchase. Other common necessities including over-the-counter pain-relief like Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and Advil can be found at the sundry shops.

ROOM CAPACITY

All Atlantis standard guest rooms have a maximum occupancy of up to four persons in the room. Larger accommodations are available such as Luxury Suites which can accommodate up to eight persons and Villas that sleep up to ten persons.


WHAT ARE THE AMENITIES IN MOST ROOMS?

Most rooms have a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and in-room safe for the storage of valuables.


DOES YOUR HOTEL OFFER ROOM ACCOMMODATIONS FOR THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED?

Almost completely wheelchair accessible, we strive to provide the best for all our Atlantis guests. Handicap friendly accommodations are offered on a limited basis. If you are interested in booking a special needs room, please contact us at 242-363-3000 so we can verify availability and secure the room in advance.

Atlantis Features:
Our only limitations for handicap visitors are the actual beach and waterslides.
The hallway areas between towers provide elevators near the staircases.
All public areas at Atlantis are wheelchair accessible with minimal navigation.
We offer handicap rooms with safety bars, lowered sinks and many offer roll-in showers.

Wheelchair Rentals:

Motorized chairs are available for $45 and $65 per day, depending on type.
Non-motorized are available for $20 per day.

DO I NEED AN ELECTRICITY ADAPTER?

The resort has a voltage capacity of 110V for U.S. and Canadian electric razors, hair dryers and other standard electrical equipment used in guest rooms. All European appliances require an adapter, which can be obtained from Housekeeping.

CAN I UPGRADE MY ROOM?

If you are interested in upgrading the room you are presently holding, this certainly is possible. We do not manage a waitlist service so it would be up to you to check back with us. Any of the following options may be followed depending on your case.

Upgrading your room to the next category or the next tower:

  • If you are confirmed with a company other than Atlantis, call them to request an upgrade.

  • If you are confirmed through Atlantis, call us directly at 800-285-2684 or 954-809-2100 to request an upgrade.

  • Pre-paid packages can not be upgraded at check-in and must be upgraded in advance.

  • You must pay the difference for your upgrade once it is confirmed.

  • All upgrade requests are based on availability.

IS THERE INTERNET SERVICE IN THE ROOMS?

All guest rooms offer two options for visitors who prefer to access the internet in the privacy of their rooms. A wired data port is available for those who bring their laptop and wireless internet is available via the NXTV interactive menu. Wireless keyboards are provided in each room and the pricing for these two options is the same as listed above.
Complimentary Internet Access is available for 20 minutes per day, per person at 4 Stations in the The Coral Library.

IS THERE LAUNDRY SERVICE AT ATLANTIS?

Complete valet laundry and dry cleaning service are available. Garments are picked up before 9:00 a.m. are returned the same day. We service daily except Sundays.

IS THERE A NURSE/DOCTOR ON SITE?

Nurses Station:
Atlantis Mediclinic, is located at The Beach Station in The Coral (lobby level - corridor leading to the Shore Wing).
Operating hours: 8am -8pm.

The Royal Station is located outside near The Royal Pool Deck.
Operating hours: 9am - 5pm (closing time changes during daylight savings time).

A doctor is on call 24hrs. a day and holds a clinic Tuesday - Saturday. To make an appointment please call the Coral Clinic at ext. 64066.

DOES ATLANTIS OFFER BABY-SITTING SERVICE?

Thanks for allowing us to make your children a part of our Atlantean Family. Our babysitting service is an In-room Service Only.

When a sitting is arranged the babysitter comes to your room and cares for your child. Sitters are not allowed to take the child/children out of the room unless a parent is present. Poolside / Beachside / Outdoor sittings are at the approval of Management only and must be arranged in advance of booking so a suitable sitter can be arranged.

Qualifications of Sitters
All babysitters are CPR Certified.
Background checked by Atlantis Security Department.
Health Certified by the Bahamas Government.
Food Handlers' Certification
Negative Covid-19 tests, confirmed by Atlantis Security Department.

Cost for Babysitting Service (rates effective January 1st, 2022– inclusive of 10% VAT)

Sittings must be scheduled for a minimum of three hours, a maximum of 4 children per sitting. Sittings that are less than 3hrs are automatically billed at the 3-hour rate, based on the number of children.
Sittings booked from 7am – 10pm: $27.50 per hour (1child), $38.50 per hour (2 children), $49.50 per hour (3 children), $60.50 per hour (4 children)
Sittings booked from 10pm – 7am: $33.00 per hour (1 child), $44.00 per hour (2 children), $55.00 per hour (3 children), $66.00 per hour (4 children)

Payment

Payments for all sittings are by Room charge only. There is no cash payment for this service. The cost is charged to the room via an agreement form presented by the sitter at the start of the service. Gratuities are optional and must be room-charged via notation on the agreement form.

Cancellation Policy

All sittings must be cancelled at least 2 hours before the start of the sitting. Failure to do so will result in a $60 penalty fee.

Note: For any sitting session that lasts more than six consecutive hours, the guest is to provide the babysitter with a duty meal, or a $15 meal allowance, or allow a 30-minute break.

Resort and sports attire is appropriate throughout the day. Shoes and cover-ups are required in the lobbies and in all indoor restaurants, lounges and public places at all times.

AIRPORT AND AIRLINES

When traveling to Atlantis confirm your flights into Nassau International Airport. The airport code is NAS. Most major airlines offer international service with either non-stop or connecting service into NAS.



DOCUMENTS

For prepaid Destination Atlantis Vacation Packages, your travel plan may include items such as transportation or excursions that require travel vouchers. These vouchers will be delivered in a PDF document and attached to your e-mail confirmation, once the balance of the travel plan is paid in full. The vouchers must then be printed, signed and presented to each vendor for the service provided. Service may not be rendered if vouchers are not presented. Travel vouchers are only valid for the persons listed on the travel plan. If you chose to book the accommodations only, you will not receive any travel vouchers for your travel plan.

DO I NEED SPECIFIC DOCUMENTATION AND VACCINATIONS IN ADVANCE OF VISITING THE BAHAMAS?

Most visitors to The Bahamas do not need special vaccinations before entering the country. However, travelers over the age of 1 year if arriving after leaving or transiting the following countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela, Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Central African Rep., Chad, Congo, Congo (Dem, Rep.) Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia, French Guiana, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Togo and Uganda must provide a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Visitors must be vaccinated 10 days before entering The Bahamas.

TRAVEL PROTECTION

An Optional Travel Protection Plan is available for you to purchase. If you wish to purchase the Plan, it must be purchased at the time of booking your room reservation. Refer to Optional Travel Protection Plan (anchor to T&C’s page/section) for additional terms and conditions.

PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP

As you will be traveling to another country, you must present proof of citizenship. All guests full, legal names and children's ages are required at time of booking. Possession of proper documentation is the responsibility of the passenger. Each passenger must have a valid passport, visa and/or proof of citizenship (such as an original or notarized copy of a birth certificate with an accompanying photo ID with the same name change, or supporting documentation of name such as a marriage certificate). Failure to provide the air carrier or governmental officials with necessary documents will lead to denial of boarding, in which case there shall be no obligation to board the affected passenger or to provide any alternate transportation. The passenger's failure to provide such documentation may result in automatic flight cancellation without right to a refund.

Starting January 23, 2007 all travelers including U.S. citizens, to and from the Caribbean, Bermuda, Panama, Mexico and Canada must have a passport to enter or re-enter the United States. This is a change from prior travel requirements and will affect all United States citizens entering the United States from countries within the Western Hemisphere who do not currently possess valid passports. This new requirement will also affect certain foreign nationals who currently are not required to present a passport to travel to the United States. Most Canadian citizens, citizens of the British Overseas Territory of Bermuda, and to a lesser degree, Mexican citizens will be affected by the implementation of this requirement.
