Young dolphins and sea lions are energetic, inquisitive, and highly intelligent, and benefit from active human engagement as their brains and bodies grow.

In this encounter, you’ll work side by side with our marine-mammal behaviorists to engage young dolphin calves and sea lions in activities that support their development. These intimate sessions offer a rare opportunity to learn and then utilize positive reinforcement techniques and fun enrichment devices like ice cubes and water play.

Our behaviorists will also share first-hand experiences of marine mammal births, how mothers care for and nurse their calves and pups and help them develop specialized skills for each species.
