Transportation Options

Getting from Nassau to Paradise Island is quick and easy, the two are connected by the Sir Sidney Poitier Bridge.

Taxi/Cab (Fastest)

Private and shared taxis are available in downtown Nassau and just outside the cruise terminal. A taxi to Atlantis Paradise Island takes about 10–20 minutes. Bring cash, as many transportation companies do not take credit cards. Show your Atlantis Day Pass confirmation for easy access to the Atlantis Adventures Tour Center located outside The Coral to check in and receive your wristband.

Water Taxi/Ferry (Water views)

Island hop from Nassau to Paradise Island aboard a ferry! Sail across the harbour and enjoy our crystal-clear waters and admire panoramic views of the city from a different point of view. Cruise passengers can board the ferry at the Ferry Terminal at Nassau Cruise Port. The ferry leaves the port every 30 minutes from 9:00am to 12:00pm. From Nassau’s Prince George Wharf downtown, water taxis run to Paradise Island in about 10 minutes. Prices vary. Check with the ferry operator to confirm return times, which can vary by season.

Please present the following at check-in:

  • Your confirmation email

  • A valid photo ID

  • A completed waiver form

  • The credit card used during purchase

Check-in takes place at the Atlantis Adventures Tour Center, located outside The Coral, overlooking the Atlantis Marina.

What is the cancellation policy for Day Passes?

Day Passes are refundable up to 4 days prior to arrival. Purchases are non-refundable within 3 days of arrival.

What pool access is included with my Day Pass?

Your Day Pass includes access to all Atlantis pools except The Cove Pool.

Is The Cove Pool included?

No, The Cove Pool is not included. However, Cove Beach daybeds are available for an additional cost.

Are lockers available?

Yes. Lockers are available for rent at the Day Visitor Centre, located behind the Mayan Temple, and are available until 6:30 PM.

Is there a fee for unreturned locker keys?

Yes. A $50 fee applies for unreturned keys. Payment must be made by room charge or credit card; cash is not accepted.

What are Aquaventure Waterpark hours?

Aquaventure is open daily:

  • April – September: 10 AM – 7 PM

  • March & October: 10 AM – 6 PM

  • November – February: 10 AM – 5 PM
