From delicate seafood, soups and salads to spice-rich curries, beautifully presented tender cuts of meat and decadent desserts, Ko Sa Wan promises artistry on every plate and a fusion of flavors with every bite. Award-winning Chef Ian Kittichai’s culinary journey began in Bangkok, Thailand. His early experiences greatly influenced his cooking style, leading to the creation of famed restaurants such as Kittichai in New York City and Akanee and Khum Hom in Bangkok. Chef Kittichai is known for his creative flair, bold use of seasonal ingredients and diverse cooking techniques which have all earned him recognition on a global culinary stage.
In recent years, Chef Kittichai expanded his gastronomic empire with restaurant openings like Anaala in Phuket, Coast in Taipei and Soi Social in Singapore. Additionally, he founded Spot Dessert Bar, with five locations across New York City, and he plans to open Anaala in Valletta, Malta in 2025.
In addition to his restaurant ventures, Chef Kittichai serves as an ambassador for Iron Chef in the USA and Thailand. He has appeared as a judge on several popular television shows including Hell’s Kitchen Thailand, MasterChef Junior, All Stars and Celebrity Thailand.
