For 20 years, the nonprofit Atlantis Blue Project Foundation has helped save the lives of countless marine animals and become a driving force for ocean conservation.
Join us in 2025 as we celebrate the foundation’s mission and many accomplishments – and learn what’s on the horizon. Throughout the coming year, we’ll bring you news, updates and ways to actively support ocean conservation initiatives.
The Atlantis Blue Project Foundation (ABPF) exists to save sea species and their extraordinary habitats in The Bahamas. It’s funded by your generous donations along with a portion of proceeds from our Marine Adventures, Dolphin Cay interactions, and Music Making Waves events. Thank you for making our work possible!
Atlantis is the “911” of animal rescue and has a highly specialized team, plus equipment and vehicles, to transport sick and injured animals to our rehabilitation facilities. These efforts, part of the Bahamas Marine Mammal Stranding Network, receive funding each year from ABPF.
Until all marine habitats are safe, healthy and abundant, wildlife will be threatened. ABPF works closely with Bahamas National Trust, The Nature Conservancy, Perry Institute for Marine Science and many other partners to collaborate on conservation efforts that have broad, long-term impact.
Protecting threatened and endangered animals – and educating future generations about species preservation – is an important focus for ABPF. The foundation funds scientific research, education programs, and community outreach efforts to address growing environmental concerns.
