The Governor General’s Youth Award (GGYA) was re-established in The Bahamas in 1987 as the Bahamas Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme and renamed GGYA in 1996. Its current Patron is Her Excellency Cynthia A. Pratt. Since its inception, more than 30,000 Bahamian youth have participated in community service, physical recreation, and skill development to earn Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards.
The Bahamas Allstars is a nonprofit youth development organization founded in 2011 that empowers young Bahamians ages 12–18 through the performing arts. With over 140 active members and more than 200 scholarship recipients, it promotes mentorship, discipline, and positive lifestyle choices. Over 14 years, the organization has achieved high-profile international performances, including the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, World Expo Dubai, and championship appearances at Howard University Homecoming.

An Evening of Fine Food, Premium Spirits, and a Worthy Cause
A percentage of the proceeds of each ticket purchased will benefit the Duke of Edinburgh Semi-Finals Golf Tournament, in support of the GGYA and The Bahamas All Stars.
