Silan is an exciting new restaurant by Chef Alon Shaya located in the heart of the Atlantis Casino.

This Mediterranean-inspired restaurant pays homage to Chef Shaya’s Israeli heritage with a nod to Bahamian flavors.
The spices that became the building blocks of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine are paired with the bounty of fresh produce sourced from fertile lands or caught from the sea.

Chef Alon Shaya joins the resort’s growing portfolio of award-winning chefs, further establishing Atlantis Paradise Island as the ultimate culinary destination in the region.

Born in Israel, raised in Philadelphia, and a proud New Orleanian, Chef Shaya reflects his heritage and culinary perspective in each of Pomegranate Hospitality’s restaurants, including the acclaimed Saba, Miss River, and Chandelier Bar in New Orleans, and Safta in Denver.

Driven by his love for food and the way restaurants anchor their communities, Chef Shaya is a multiple James Beard Foundation award winner, earning top honors in the categories of “Best Chef: South” and “Best New Restaurant.” Furthermore, Southern Living named him one of the "50 People Who Are Changing the South," The Forward as one of the "50 Most Influential Jews in America," and Eater New Orleans as “Chef of the Year.”

Chef Alon Shaya was also one of the participating celebrity chefs featured in the 2023 Nassau Paradise Island Wine & Food Festival.

RIBEYE STEAK


A deliciously tender 16-ounce ribeye steak served with a flavorful twist of za'atar chimichurri sauce.

CINNAMON BABKA


Freshly baked cinnamon babka served with a drizzle of warm caramel and a scoop of velvety vanilla ice cream.

LAMB FLATBREAD


A doughy flatbread topped with tender lamb, fresh olives, roasted peppers, and creamy feta cheese.  

MARINATED CONCH


A refreshing pairing of marinated conch with chilled yogurt and cucumber, complemented by the flavors of dill, walnuts, and pink peppercorns.
