While they had visited paradise many times before, this trip turned out to be one that would outlast all the rest. Alex knew it would be the perfect place to pop the question, and he turned to our team for help. Our event planners worked with him to create a proposal worthy of celebrating the start of their new life together.
We caught up with the newly engaged Brooke and asked her all about her island proposal experience.
What made him choose Atlantis as the proposal destination?
We’ve been coming to Atlantis for years, and it holds a special place in our hearts. Now we have another great memory!
How did he arrange it all – the setting, the candles, the roses?
My fiancé worked with the amazing Atlantis team to bring his vision to life without me ever knowing. I don’t know how they do it!
What was your favorite part of your proposal?
From the ground covered in rose petals, to the single violin playing and the pastel colored sunset–I will never forget it.
Was the proposal something you discussed or was it a surprise?
While we had talked about it, I had no idea when or where, so that part was a total surprise.
What did he say when he “popped the question"?
From the moment I met you I knew you were the one, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
