Happy New Year and happy birthday to Dolphin Cay’s oldest resident dolphin, Jackie!
On January 1, team members and guests gathered lagoon-side to celebrate our beautiful and playful dolphin matriarch,
offering her birthday joy, enrichment toys, and a fish-tastic birthday cake!
Easy to spot with her white-freckled fins and pink rostrum, Jackie is mom to four dolphins at Dolphin Cay –Toni, Elijah, Bimini, and Rose – and loves to splash anyone who walks by her lagoon!
It’s unusual for dolphins to live to 50, but not surprising at one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated open-air marine habitats, Dolphin Cay.
