Celebrating Endangered Species Day
at Atlantis

This May, celebrate Endangered Species Day at Atlantis Paradise Bahamas. Our dedicated experts care for a variety of endangered species and our efforts extend far beyond our resort.

At Atlantis, we're all about conservationβ€”it's not just something we talk about; it's at the core of who we are. More than 9 endangered species call Atlantis home. But the heartbeat of our conservation efforts lies in our success stories. Six of those endangered species have had reproductive success ensuring their survival for future generations.

Their most striking feature is the long, narrow rostrum that stretches out more than 2 feet and is ringed with small, sharp teeth. Sawfish use it as a hunting tool, slashing their head through schools of fish to to stun and capture a meal
