CULINARY INNOVATION AT TABLE TAKEOVERS

Renowned chef Mashama Bailey led an exclusive dining event at Café Martinique this fall.
This edition of Table Takeovers featured three nights of exquisite cuisine.

Mashama Bailey, celebrated as "the most important chef in America" by the Financial Times, showcased her exceptional culinary skills and innovative approach to Port City Southern fare during the event. 

Chef Mashama Bailey — the winner of the 2022 James Beard Outstanding Chef Award (the first Black woman to receive this honor) and the 2019 James Beard Best Chef: Southeast — made the Table Takeovers event an unforgettable journey through heritage, culinary innovation, and the art of exceptional cuisine.


 
Diners had the opportunity to savor a unique menu curated by Chef Bailey, which was offered alongside Café Martinique's regular menu. Dishes featured a fusion of flavors with locally-sourced ingredients that drew inspiration from her diverse background.
