Dining at Nobu

Experience world-renowned Japanese fusion cuisine at the acclaimed Nobu restaurant by celebrated Japanese Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. Dining here is always an occasion, and it’s the ideal venue for a celebratory dinner or special gathering.



Parties with children under 6 years are welcome to dine at Nobu any time prior to 7pm.

NOBU MATSUHISA

Born and raised in Japan, Matsuhisa apprenticed in the sushi bars of Tokyo before he ventured overseas to Lima, Peru. Classically trained, Matsuhisa was challenged by the culture and regional ingredients that contributed to inventive style. Thereafter, he continued to Buenos Aires then back to Japan, Alaska and finally, Los Angeles where he opened his restaurant in 1987.

Imaginative dishes ranging from Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa soy dressing and Yellow Tail Sashimi with Jalapenos to Squid Pasta with light garlic sauce and Black Cod in Miso led Food & Wine Magazine to name Matsuhisa one of America's "10 Best New Chefs" in 1989.

Omakase
Omakase is a Japanese phrase that means “I’ll leave it up to you”. At Nobu, the Omakase menu represents it’s most elevated, rarified and memorable culinary experience in which the chef selects the day’s finest ingredients to create a unique array of seven to ten dishes that vary from day to day. For our chefs it represents an exciting opportunity to display their skill and creativity and for our guests it is an enchanting gastronomic adventure full of unexpected delights.
